My photoshoot was a milestone in the journey towards loving myself – inside and out. This was not an easy experience-from spending the time and money on MYSELF, to being the center of attention, then to actually LOOK at the photos. I feel different because of this experience- more connected to myself. The easy part was handing myself over to Shannon and her professional team! Not that I’ve reached a final destination of perfect peace but now I am more accepting and appreciating my body for all the many ways it brings me joy (not to mention carrying my brain around all day).

Had such an uplifting first time shoot! Shannon and the ladies make you feel so welcome and take your jitters away. They make you feel like a million bucks. I went back to view my pictures and i was speechless. They brought tears to my eyes. I was so in love with all of them! Shannon has the personality to make everyone feel welcome!

When I booked the session, Shannon asked if it was for someone special or a special occasion and I said yes, it was for me and my journey to loving myself. What I got was way more than I ever expected. From hair and makeup to the photo shoot, I felt comfortable, at ease and special. Doing this for myself was exactly what I needed to lift and encourage my almost nonexistent confidence and self-esteem. When I left my session that day I felt amazingly beautiful and proud of myself for pushing through the fear and self consciousness. I couldn’t have done it with any other photographer. Shannon is extraordinarily talented!! Behind that talent is a woman who genuinely wants every single lady to feel gorgeous- because we are!!
